Zoho, provides an online suite of applications including Zoho Writer, (word-processing), Zoho Sheet, (spreadsheet), database and Zoho Show, (slideshow presentation) options. These applications have a look and feel a lot like their off-line equivalents. One of the key advantages of using such on-line applications is that students can work on their documents anywhere and any time as long as they are on-line. The applications are not platform or operating system dependent.

One drawback is that they can be a bit slow to react to your direction and editing choices especially depending on your internet connectivity. To assist you to get started with Zoho Docs here are some introductory notes for setting up and working with Zoho Writer.
